Having started fishing for trout over 50 years ago in his local burns, John developed his love of game fishing into sea trout, grayling and salmon all over the UK.
Being an accomplished watercolour artist, John started sculpting trout and painting them to mount on stones gathered from the rivers he fishes, especially the Tweed.
The sculptures are keenly sought after among anglers and fishing clubs and make a delightful "collectible" to adorn the shelf or coffee table.

Each fish is individually shaped and hand painted so in fact no two are the same.
Larger fish are available and can be mounted on plaques, stones or glass cases.
